The Key 2 Neurodiversity
I am Ellie Kay, a CPD trained ADHD coach (soon to be ICF accredited), trainer, speaker and mediator (soon to be CMS accredited).
After running four successful businesses from the age of 27, I was diagnosed with ADHD at 45. After reading every book possible about the subject, I decided to swap the world of recruitment for my life mission – helping businesses get Neurodiversity inclusion right.
I want to spread the word that inclusion does not have to be hard work – in fact, it should be quite the opposite. Diverse teams are proven to be more successful and more resilient.
I know how hard it can be to get it right and to manage people with so many different personalities. But I believe that through knowledge and understanding, we can turn a fragmented office into a unified one where everyone enjoys their work and feels heard. When employees feel like their employer truly cares, hiring and retention improve too.
Through my talks, workshops, training and mediation, I aim to make offices more united and happier places to work, where all voices feel heard and understood.
The fact that I have been a business owner and manager myself, as well as being an ADHD coach and an ADHDer, means I can bring an objective and empathetic perspective when working with businesses.
